Civic & Municipal Government Building Project

Nutting Engineers was retained by the civil engineer to provide the geotechnical investigation/engineering to provide the foundation design for a new three-story, 192,265 square foot $140 million police headquarters, feature training rooms, an evidence warehouse, a secure parking garage and 5,270 square foot community center. Construction is shallow foundations after vibro‐replacement for the parking garage, and intensive surface compaction for the police headquarters building, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and concrete masonry unit.
