Nutting Environmental of Florida, Inc. (NEF) is a full service environmental firm that has been offering quality professional environmental since 1987. The firm was initiated as a sister company to Nutting Engineers of Florida, Inc. which has been serving Florida since 1967. NEF can initiate tailor-made environmental programs for our clients based on specific needs or regulatory compliance requirements of each project.

NEF can perform all types of soil and groundwater assessments for residential, commercial, industrial facilities and landfill sites. Assessments include drilling, monitoring well installation, soil and groundwater sampling and laboratory analyses of soil and groundwater samples by FDEP certified laboratories. Fieldwork includes the use of hand augers, concrete coring equipment, truck & track mounted drill rigs, 5 wheel all terrain vehicles, kayaks, small boats & personal watercraft vehicles.
NEF has performed extensive work in regard to the installation of monitoring wells, recovery wells, vapor extraction wells and air sparge wells. Additional services include well abandonment, air lifting, standard penetration test borings, and South Florida Water Management District and Florida Department of Transportation exfiltration tests.

EXPERIENCE
NEF has had extensive experience in both the public and private sectors providing services to the Florida community over the past 20 years. NEF’s clientele base is comprised of 85% repeat clients and includes municipalities, counties, school districts, architects, developers, private home owners, realtors, banks, insurance companies, mortgage brokers and businesses of all descriptions.
NUTTING’s experienced staff of employees includes certified well drillers and well technicians. Our drilling team includes two lead drillers, Mr. Don Tyson and Mr. Todd Simmons with 36 and 15 years experience respectively, with the majority of this experience with the Nutting team within the South Florida area. Our well installation teams consist of senior OSHA trained and certified drillers and drilling assistants that will professionally and efficiently expedite the completion of projects in accordance with our clients’ specific requirements.
NEF maintains environmental drill rigs including a compact Simco 2800 rigs and a Diedrich D-50 track rig also useful for limited/hard to access sites. The majority of NEF drill rigs feature four-wheel drive capability for off road access. Our equipment is capable of installing 2 inch to 8 inch diameter groundwater wells, recovery wells and irrigation wells utilizing a variety of proven methods to depths of 100 feet.
Drilling support vehicles include completely self contained vehicles and trailers. These vehicles offer grout mixer pumping stations, 4000 watt generators/ welders and decontamination equipment including high pressure steam wash and 350 gallon potable water storage.
